Today we are going to start this by reciting lyrics to a song entitled “Me On Your Mind” by Matthew West. Here’s a link to the song: https://youtu.be/BiUixue9cfs?si=12FIXpFhhVemS1jFI highly recommend listening to it if you have not heard it before or need to be reminded about these lyrics, I’m referencing the first verse: 1.) “Who am I that the King of the world would give one single thought about my broken heart?” Please take time and effort into understanding the many different levels of the lyrics:
1.) Think about the world’s population! Then add this lyric to it. Each and every one of us on an individual level. His thoughts and love for ALL of us at an unfathomable level and greater than any human, animal, or false God in capable of.
2.) Think about the fact He created EVERYTHING (He still cares about us on an individual basis (that alone is astonishing).He could easily of just created a replacement version of you and wiped you off the face of the world and wiped the memory of you from anyone’s mind.
3.) He not just cares about my broken heart but goes to state in Luke 12:7 “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not ONE of them is forgotten by God. And even the VERY HAIRS of YOUR head are ALL NUMBERED. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Another part of the lyrics points out that “He is the King of the WORLD”. He still loves and looks into the hearts of His humans, dies on the cross for their sins, His creation’s sins, and doesn’t go on to start all over again from scratch. God’s NOT like that!
Another lyric from the song goes on to say: “Just knowing You’re mindful of me. Just knowing You call me Your child it’s flooding my soul with unspeakable hope. Thank You, Lord, that it’s me on Your Mind. He created each and every one of us in the secret place. He dies on the cross for all sins we have done. (During the hours of the agony He suffered, He says “forgive them Father for they know not what they do.”). He goes beyond the cross, He proves He rose from the dead and then He ascends into heaven and sends us a helper (The Holy Spirit.) The Lord ALSO goes on to give us another amazing gift: the living breathing word of God to show us His love, and His Instructions on how to live a Christ Followers life. God goes even beyond these mentioned blessings and blesses us again by creating a place for His creation an ETERNAL PERFECT PLACE for us to dwell in perfection with Him and His children. That’s off the charts, mega love.
