The Lord is our Shepard as stated in Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. We are called to be His sheep. Now think about this are sheep weight bearing animals? The answer is no. So why Brothers and Sisters in Christ, why Do we try doing too much or all of it ourselves? God invites us to to lay our heavy burdens on Him for His yoke is easy as stated within: Matthew 11:29-30 “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” We were never meant to do it alone think about it The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭18‬- Take also into consideration that even at one of Christ’s most tortuous times He still stated “Father forgive them they know not what they do. “Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭34‬ ‭ “This is the one about whom it is written: “ ‘I will send My messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭7‬ Even after being in torment for hours on the cross, He STILL has compassion on His sheep and sends us a helper The Holy Spirit to keep us in the path that leads us to heaven. My last and final point is: Jesus needed help carrying His cross as stated in ‭‭Luke‬ Chapter 23 verse 26 “As the soldiers led Him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.” Dear Lord, Please help us to never be ashamed of our fear of being thought of judgement of others, there’s no shame in asking others “for help and doing it our way. People will let us down, but in time of need God is ever present in our troubles and tribulations. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” -Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭1‬-

Thank You God for never failing us and sending us a helper despite the punishment and horrific death You went through. In Your Name I pray, Amen
