Who do you decide is worth advertising for? Do you decide to wear the newest Adidas logo or the latest Under Armor shirt to blend in with a community of people who can afford to buy such clothes? I’ll ask you one more time: Who’s worth advertising or fitting in with? My personal decision would be to advertise the One who shed His innocent blood, who created the world and EVERYTHING in it according to His good and gracious will. Adidas and other major businesses don’t care in the least about your purchase of their products. I can tell you that, in my own personal experiences, I get more compliments from random strangers about how they love my shirts. Who greater to represent than our Creator, of the universe? Or among an elite group of Christ Followers?
Another idea to ponder: especially it comes to the end of times, the more people you reach with your Christ Followers shirts as an ice breaker, the more opportunities you have to ask, “Some random stranger, “May I pray for the stranger that God puts you in to have a personal message to tell them or pray for about their struggles or difficulties?” (Especially at a major well-known hospital in Rochester Minnesota where a Mayo Clinic is located. Or a painful doctor’s office). The power of prayers has no limit. There is only a limit to the power that a Christ Follower has 24/7 365 to help anyone. Prayer and our God exist in or your doubt and impatience.
I do NOT and REFUSE to keep the gospel message from anyone or stop being a follower of Christ follower for any reason or circumstances. This is especially true when someone might be offended by my faith and advertising a Prince of Peace or praying in public, telling your cashier God bless, and making sure that ALL people you encounter know your beliefs.
Dear Lord,
Please help us realize just how magnificent You are! Your great love for Your creation, Your power and the gifts we have in and through You! May we advertise YOU than some popular name brand of clothing. Help us spread the word of God as much as humanly possible. Help us O’ Lord to remember You care enough to care about us enough to count the number of hairs on ALL of our heads. Let’s make heaven, crowded! In Your Name we pray. Amen.
