This is probably the most controversial devotional I will write. But I believe in one baptism and here’s why! Let us first look at “one God and Father of all, who is over Ephesians 4:6, “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,” Ephesians 4:5, “For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”, Romans 6:4, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19, and let us look at “Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5.
As you can see from the scriptures above baptism is for redeeming and for the Holy Spirit to work on us. It’s not a denominational purpose and there is no specific way stated how to do it. The Bible does not say a specific denomination has the baptism style correct but, stop using it as a way of membership to your church. It’s a membership to heaven!
