You all know I’ve been sick with various types of things. (Most of them have caused great pain) a song comes to mind. The songs have the following lyrics ”I’ll raise a Hallelujah in the middle of the storm.” Another great song says,” God is the calm in the center of my storm.” it’s easy to say…easy to think you will do. We’ve all thought or even say ”yeah, God has this. If we are sincere, none of these options go these ways. We honestly don’t let these options happen. We try to fix our issues make our own ”calm,” or the last thing we do is praise God for the troubles we face big or small.

I don’t think we will ever perfect praising God in our most significant troubles, which brings me to the scripture in the Bible that states,” Don’t you trust Me to protect you? The disciple’s first response was,” who is this man; even the waves obey Him?” a lack of praise, a lack of trust in God, who calmed the storm. Yet again, we failed to trust God; we were unable to praise Him in the middle of the storm.

I challenge you all to try and raise a hallelujah in the middle of whatever storms God has you facing. Not only praise Him in the storm but to trust that He will be the calm in the center of all life’s storms.
This entry was posted in Uncategorized on February 23, 2020 by Jon_Buhlmann.

I’ve been asked, “how can you keep going with all the medical conditions, procedures, and what not?”

My response should be: Always be prepared to answer everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

I’m going, to be honest with you it’s not been easy I’ve asked God. “What is next… what’s gonna happen next but I always reflect on the scripture that goes something like this ‘My grace is sufficient for you.” please allow me to share one more comforting Bible verse I reflect on daily it goes like this: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

I will share this memory I have with my Grandma she had me memorize the 23thrd psalm. She also shared the story of footprints in the sand.

I’ve got a couple of great friends I know that I can always talk to when things go haywire and I feel so lost. I got my mother who’s been there through it all. My Dad has also helped me out in days of trouble.

Clinging to the fact that living God has something for me to accomplish and dead I’ll be cured. I, also remember that nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. Something that always helps me is to remember that Scripture states no one can snatch you out of My hand.

Yes, there have been times I felt like death would be better off dead the issue is that there’s no shortcut to heaven you got to follow the straight and narrow path that leads to heaven. There’s been events in my life that I know God did to save my life or, brought me through that only God could only done by our Savior.

Everything that is on this world is temporary. Also, remember that heaven has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal.
