“To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy—” ~Jude ‭1:24‬~

What a wonderful bible verse this is. God’s love for us is unfathomable and undeserving but yet He loves us anyway and keeps us on the straight and narrow path. To keep us on the path that leads us to our ultimate goal (heaven).

Though we sin daily He sees us without fault and blameless as if that wasn’t enough He also sees His children with great joy. How many parents do you know are overjoyed when their children have disobeyed instructions or broken rules. I can’t think of one.

I once heard of a illustration that was told like this: a Father seen his Son disobey a rule. His Son knew his Father seen him and knew he was in deep trouble and a spanking was coming. So the Father took his Son to his room and the Father raised his hand and the child began to prepare for the inevitable. But the spanking never came instead the Father’s hand hit his own thigh. The child was dumbfounded. The Father explained to his Son see “Son just like Jesus took the punishment I know I deserved I took the punishment you knew you deserved”.

The Bible is chalk full of wonderful bible verses another favorite verse of mine that demonstrates His unfathomable love for His people is: Romans 5:8

“But God demonstrated His is love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Please allow me to follow this bible verse: Psalms 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

Caution to you though! I must warn you with these verses from Romans: Romans 6: 1-2 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be!
The almighty and merciful God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, bless us and keep us.

We have so many miracles to be thankful for! The list goes on from breath, good health, financial success, the miracle of babies, food on the table, clothing, the ability to walk, talk, sing, hear and fix broken items, I can’t even fathom all that is simply overlooked. When we look at the prayer our Savior taught us to pray He wants us to ask Him for our daily bread. More times than not He delivers on that request and goes beyond and provides us with a vehicle that will safely get us to work, gas money for our vehicles, a good job, children, parents, the list goes on Our gracious Father also protects us in obvious ways, and also there are ones we are oblivious to that He protects us from. These are also miracles we need to thank God for.

Look at the 23rd Psalm the Lord is the Shepherd I shall not want. Why should we not want it? Because He miraculously blesses us with our every need without so much of an unspoken prayer or request He does these miracles. Lord, give me the patience to know the difference between my wants and Your will. A million little miracles on a continuous flow that we need to not only thank God for but also praise Him for.

I’ve heard it multiple times by multiple people…that church service was too long. I don’t have time for Bible study my kids have sports, I have things I have to do at home.

If it wasn’t for sports, then my kids would be more active in church. If I wasn’t so swamped at work, I’d be more involved in my church.

Enough! There’s always going to be something that steals our precious time with Jesus. It’s a matter of priorities and what we truly value as important. Case in point, if we didn’t have school sports competing with our time with God, church people would say “it’s our only time with family.”

Make time for God make time for God’s word as much as possible.

He died suffered on the cross He didn’t hang on the cross and say “sorry guys I have my child’s volleyball game or football game to go to.” NO! He stayed and SUFFERED until the bitter end.

Yet we can’t spend one or two days out of the week to listen and praise Him for what He did and continues to do for us on a regular basis. This is wrong and needs to change NOW!

Remember the phrase “God can come at any time?” What would your response be if He came to your child’s game on Sunday and asked you “Why are you not at my Father’s house worshiping?”

Get your priorities in line. We need to want, desire and crave God’s word as much as possible. When we are not in His word, we need to serve one another. When you’re not serving, pray for the sick, poor, suffering, and struggling.
