It occurred to me (from God) that even Jesus’s first miracle was changing water into wine. The resemblance to foreshadow of Him sending many other prophets ahead of Him. Just like the cup of wine tasting better than the first round completed. Let us look at the scriptures exact wording: we will pick up from John 2:9-11 the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

See so the second coming of the Lord will be much greater than when He walked the earth and He paid it ALL for us on the cross us. Dear Lord, Please help us all to understand the symbolisms in Your word that is God given or get God breathed. Help us cling all the more. Loser toYou. Please respond to each of us in the way You get all the glory. Lord in Your Mercy. Hear our prayer. Amen

Easter has come and gone already. Isn’t that crazy. But as I was sitting in church pondering the wonder and mystery of the cross and the empty tomb, some things came to my mind that I wanted to write about.

First off, may I just say that if the story of the cross and the empty tomb don’t get ya going, I’m not sure what will. The old tears were flowing for me on Sunday. For those of you who don’t know me I’ve been a christian for about seven years now. I became a christian the day before my father passes away at a young age. But even though I’ve been a christian for a while now, I still often wonder why Jesus would want to die on the cross. Why would God do that? I’m one of those guys that thinks why

To little children this might not seem like such a crazy question to be asking. But majority of people that are afraid of the dark don’t like it because they can’t see everything around them in long distant places…at least for me it was afraid of not knowing what lies in the dark that I am not yet aware of.
But some like the dark and normally it’s not for good reason mind you. They are more than likely harm you in some way shape or form. Darkness covers up a lot sure we have the moon and stars but they don’t reveal a lot of light to the darkness that surrounds us.

Two things I want to mention: 1.) People like the dark because they think they can get away with something or it could be our foolishness thinking we can hide what we plan to do in some kind of spiritual darkness. (But we fail to realize with God He knows our life A-Z and in Him there is no such thing as darkness.) It is all brought to the light on way or another.

Should we be afraid of what we cannot see and not trust God’s protection in dark scary or even spooky places. Remember this story in scripture where the disciples thought the boat was going to capsize so they awoke Jesus and they were concerned that God has no way of protecting His disciples on the boat in the middle of the storm. God rebuked the winds and storm and all was taken care of. But Jesus questioned His followers “Don’t you trust Me to take care of you and protect your mortal bodies?”

In closing remember there is not darkness when the Lord our God is with us….with Him there are no shifting shadows or absence of light. God reveals everything in due time. He created our body, life, and all the creations we love and and adore. Our “Eye candy and diligently takes care of our every need big or small. No need to try and “hide” anything from God he will shine a light on it and reveal it to the people that need to know. Boldly pray that God will reveal your flaws and humble you enough to seek His light.

Just going to say this “priorities are important to teach our children.” Nine times out of ten a parent chooses to skip Sunday morning Church so their kids can attend a church or a game event. Teaching the kids that sports are more of a priority than time worshiping God and spending time learning about Him with fellow believers. Ask yourself this: is going to a basketball game going to help your child to get to heaven? Eternity matters more than a basketball game that at the very best possible outcome a professional sports career. Life is so fragile you have zero idea of when God will take His children. The Lord gives and takes away. Would you rather the children become great at sports on a Sunday or know you as a parent taught the child about God and making it more important than sports on Sunday. The commandment says remember the sabbath Day and keep it holy. We are to rest on Sunday. Also remember that Jesus is a jealous God! Your child could get a life altering injury at the sporting event. If you made sports a priority over God then you may find yourself and your child angry at God for allowing the injury to happen. I promise you that God would much rather you and your children go to church on Sunday then a sporting event. But don’t make going to church a box to check
This entry was posted in Uncategorized and tagged church, eternal life, injury, priority, sports on January 25, 2023 by Jon_Buhlmann.
